Electric mobility marks the beginning of a new technological era in the traffic sector. This radical transformation will have an impact on the supplier industries to the automotive sector in particular. Certain components will no longer be required at all, or will at least require substantial modification. The purpose of the "e-mobility - Lightweight components for electric mobility" cluster is to provide small and medium sized enterprises in the supplier industries with a platform for facilitating early and effective preparations for the changes ahead. The cluster members are small and medium sized companies in the supplier industries, all of which have many years of experience in the manufacture of components, subassemblies and systems involved in car production.
