Cooperation between clusters - biomastec and CSG (Bulgaria)

Biomastec (www.biomastec.com), an innovation and technology network of BVB UG Consult was visited by representatives of the Green Synergy Cluster from Bulgaria (www.greensynergycluster.eu/en).

Green Synergy Cluster (GSC) is a concentration of interconnected companies and institutions in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energies in Plovdiv Region. The mission of GSC is to promote, support and stimulate the implementation of innovative energy efficiency projects, renewable energy sources, energy and "green" projects in real and competitive market within the region of Plovdiv. GSC is made of up of 14 partners from industry and academia and it is managed by a three-membered board and four administrative staff.

The aim of the visit with biomastec was to discuss joint cluster collaborative projects with the aim of internationalisation of their members. Also on the agenda was the deliberation of project ideas for future European Projects within the framework of Horizon 2020. It was a successful and productive encounter and the visiting colleagues had the privilege of a guided city tour of the medieval city of Ellwangen.
